Girls Lacrosse

Girls in 4th through 8th grade interested in playing lacrosse must register by March 4 to insure a place in the program. Practices will be held on Tuesdays beginning in April and continuing until early June. Games will be scheduled with other programs throughout the Central Jersey region and are usually on the weekends. Participants must provide their own equipment. The fee for residents is $50 and $100 for non-residents.

Field Directions - Home Lacrosse Games

The Lawrence Township Recreation Department uses lacrosse fields in Central Park on Eggert Crossing Road.

 

CENTRAL PARK (parking is located at Lawrence Intermediate School 66 Eggert Crossing Road)
Route 295 north. PLEASE NOTE THAT AT EXIT 67 ROUTE 295 ENDS AND ROUTE 95 SOUTH BEGINS. Follow 95 south and exit at 7A (Route 206 south). Follow route 206 south approximately 3/4 mile and turn right at the second light (Eggert Crossing Road). The armory is 1/2 mile on your left. Please note: you will use the entrance to the Lawrence Intermediate School on your right to access the parking lot.

LAWRENCE MIDDLE SCHOOL FIELDS

From 295 Traveling north on Route 295 the exits will increase in number until exit 67 (US Route I) where Route 295 north becomes 95 south. The exit numbers are now single digit and decreasing in value. Use exit 8A, route Princeton Pike South. Follow approximately 1.5 miles (passing Lawrence High School and Lawrence Middle School) and turn right onto Gainsboro Road. Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the school or along the road. The Lacrosse fields are adjacent to the parking lot.

From 95 Traveling north on Route 95, use exit 7A, route 206 South (Trenton). Follow approximately 1.5 miles and turn left at the third light (Gainsboro Road). Use the entrance to the Lawrence Intermediate School which is 250 yards on the right. Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the school or along the road. The Lacrosse fields are adjacent to the parking lot.

ARMORY FIELDS (Located at 151 Eggert Crossing Road)
Route 295 north. PLEASE NOTE THAT AT EXIT 67 ROUTE 295 ENDS AND ROUTE 95 SOUTH BEGINS. Follow 95 south and exit at 7A (Route 206 south). Follow route 206 south approximately 3/4 mile and turn right at the second light (Eggert Crossing Road). The armory is 1/2 mile on your left. Please note: you will pass the Lawrence Intermediate School on your right, you will see the Armory (red brick building) on your left. Turn left into the driveway closest to the brick building. All vehicles must stop at the guard station and show valid driver's license. Fields are behind the military equipment.

Field Directions - Away Lacrosse Games

MONTGOMERY (Harlingen Fields)
Follow 206 North through Princeton (remember to turn left at the light at Nassau St. to continue on 206 North). After the light (Nassau St.) follow 206 N for about 8 miles, past the Princeton Airport and Route 518 (Shell Station on right/ WAWA on far corner). At the 3rd light AFTER Route 518, turn RIGHT onto Devon Road (this road has 2 different names and 2 different signs (“Sunset” to the left & “Devon” to the right) … make sure you turn RIGHT onto Devon Road. Follow Devon Road about 1.5 miles; HARLINGEN FIELD will be visible from the road on the right.

ROBBINSVILLE (Blakely Park - Meadowbrook Road)
Take Route 295 south to exit 65A (Sloan Avenue East). Follow Sloan Avenue passed the AMC 24 and through the light on Quakerbridge Road. At the light the name will change to Flock Road. Follow Flock Road to the end and turn left onto Edinburgh/Old Trenton Road. Continue passed the back entrance to Mercer County Park and turn right onto Robbinsville Edinburg Road. Turn left onto Meadowbrook Road. Blakely Park is just before Tantum Park on the left.
