Boys Lacrosse

Boys in 4th through 8th grade interested in playing lacrosse must register by March 5 to insure a place in the program. Practices will be held on weeknights beginning in March and continuing until early June. Games will be scheduled with other programs throughout the Central Jersey region and are usually on the weekends. Participants must provide their own equipment. The fee for residents is $60 and $120 for non-residents.

Field Directions - Home Lacrosse Games

The Lawrence Township Recreation Department uses lacrosse fields in Central Park on Eggert Crossing Road.

 

CENTRAL PARK (parking is located at Lawrence Intermediate School 66 Eggert Crossing Road)
Route 295 north. PLEASE NOTE THAT AT EXIT 67 ROUTE 295 ENDS AND ROUTE 95 SOUTH BEGINS. Follow 95 south and exit at 7A (Route 206 south). Follow route 206 south approximately 3/4 mile and turn right at the second light (Eggert Crossing Road). The armory is 1/2 mile on your left. Please note: you will use the entrance to the Lawrence Intermediate School on your right to access the parking lot.

LAWRENCE MIDDLE SCHOOL FIELDS

From 295 Traveling north on Route 295 the exits will increase in number until exit 67 (US Route I) where Route 295 north becomes 95 south. The exit numbers are now single digit and decreasing in value. Use exit 8A, route Princeton Pike South. Follow approximately 1.5 miles (passing Lawrence High School and Lawrence Middle School) and turn right onto Gainsboro Road. Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the school or along the road. The Lacrosse fields are adjacent to the parking lot.

From 95 Traveling north on Route 95, use exit 7A, route 206 South (Trenton). Follow approximately 1.5 miles and turn left at the third light (Gainsboro Road). Use the entrance to the Lawrence Intermediate School which is 250 yards on the right. Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the school or along the road. The Lacrosse fields are adjacent to the parking lot.

ARMORY FIELDS (Located at 151 Eggert Crossing Road)
Route 295 north. PLEASE NOTE THAT AT EXIT 67 ROUTE 295 ENDS AND ROUTE 95 SOUTH BEGINS. Follow 95 south and exit at 7A (Route 206 south). Follow route 206 south approximately 3/4 mile and turn right at the second light (Eggert Crossing Road). The armory is 1/2 mile on your left. Please note: you will pass the Lawrence Intermediate School on your right, you will see the Armory (red brick building) on your left. Turn left into the driveway closest to the brick building. All vehicles must stop at the guard station and show valid driver's license. Fields are behind the military equipment.

Field Directions - Away Lacrosse Games

ALLENTOWN/UPPER FREEHOLD

Take 295 south to Route 195 east. Continue on Route 195 east to exit 8. Make a right off of the ramp and travel about 250 feet and make a left onto Route 526 - bypass (Kubiak Electrical Contrators will be on the left). Continue passed the field which will be on your right (you cannot drive into the fields from the bypass) to the stop sign. Turn right onto Route 526 /Waker Avenue toward Allentown. The park entrance is an immediate right.

EAST WINDSOR - AIRPORT RD (P.A.L. Fields)

Take Hughes Drive to the light at Old Trenton Road and turn left. Follow Old Trenton Road passed Mercer County Community College and Mercer County Park. Turn right at the light at Route 641 (Windsor Road). Follow this road all the way out to the light at Route 130. Turn left onto Route 130 North/Route 33 East. Travel about 1.25 miles on Route 130 where the road will split (130 to the left and 33 to the right). Bear to the right onto Route 33 East (Mercer Street). Travel about 3/4 mile and turn right onto Airport Road. The fields are less than 1 mile on the left.

Take 571 east (Princeton Hightstown Road) to Route 130. Turn right onto 130 South and go approximately 1 mile. Turn left onto Hickory Corner Road. Turn left at first light onto Mercer Street/Route 33. Take first right onto Airport Road. Complex is less than 1 mile on the left.

or

Take 295 South to 195 East to exit 8. Turn left at the end of the ramp onto Old York Road/Route # 539 travelling toward East Windsor/Hightstown. Go approximately 5 miles and turn left onto Airport Road which is across from the Peddie Shcool Golf Course. Complex is on the right.

EWING (Fisher Middle School)

From 206
Turn onto Eggert Crossing Road. Follow Eggert Crossing Road to the end. Turn right at the light onto Ewingville Road. Go straight through the third traffic light (7-Eleven on the right) the road now becomes Upper Ferry Road. Follow Upper Ferry Road approximately one mile to the traffic light at Lower Ferry Road. Turn left onto Lower Ferry Road. Fisher Middle School is on the right and the fields are behind the school.

From Federal City Road
Follow Federal City Road South to the end. Turn right at the traffic light onto Ewingville Road. Go straight through the traffic light (7-Eleven on the right) the road now becomes Upper Ferry Road. Follow Upper Ferry Road approximately one mile to the traffic light at Lower Ferry Road. Turn left onto Lower Ferry Road. Fisher Middle School is on the right and the fields are behind the school.

From 295 North (this will become 95 South at exit 67 and the exits will become single digits)
Take Exit 5A (Federal City Road South). Follow Federal City Road South to the end. Turn right at the traffic light onto Ewingville Road. Go straight through the traffic light (7-Eleven on the right) the road now becomes Upper Ferry Road. Follow Upper Ferry Road approximately one mile to the traffic light at Lower Ferry Road. Turn left onto Lower Ferry Road. Fisher Middle School is on the right and the fields are behind the school.

HOPEWELL (Timberlane Middle School)

Take Route I-95S or I-95N to Exit 4 (Route 31 North, Pennington). Follow Route 31 North to the Pennington Circle. Take the third exit on the circle to return to Route 31North. Pass through a blinking traffic light and continue come to the first "full" traffic light. Turn left onto Pennington-Titusville Road. (A bank, Exxon Station, and Pennington Market are on the four corners). About 300 yards on the right you will pass the library and Hopewell Central High School. take the first right after the High School onto Timberlane Drive. The school is on your left.

MANASQUAN (Armory Fields)
Sea Girt Ave. and Second Ave., Sea Girt, NJ 08750
GSP south to exit 98 to Rt.34 south. Stay on Rt.34, go thru 1 light and 1 circle, stay in the right hand lane. Take the first exit after the circle (Sea Girt/Manasquan). Turn right off the ramp onto Atlantic Ave. Take to Rt. 35 circle. Take Rt. 35 north to 1st traffic light, Sea Girt Ave. and make a right .(Foodtown and Gulf station on right side corners). Go thru 2 traffic lights. Go over the railroad tracks and bear right. Fields are on the right hand side.

MILLSTONE (Wagner Farm Park)

Take 295 south to 195 east. Follow 195 to Exit 16 (Mount Holly, Six Flags, Freehold). Take Route 537 east toward Freehold. Make immediate first left onto Burnt Tavern Road (Peterbilt Trucking will be on your left). Go 3/4 mile to stop sign and continue straight on Route 571 north. At next stop sign continue straight on Millstone Road. Stay on Millstone Road until you reach the intersection of Baird Road. make a right onto Baird Road. The lacrosse fields are about 2.5 miles on your left.

NORTH BRUNSWICK

Take Route I North to Princeton, turn onto Princeton/Hightstown Road. Follow this to Route 130 North. After entering North Brunswick you will pass a BP Gas Station at a traffic light. Make a right at Apple Orchard Lane. Make the first left on Apple Orchard Lane and the parking lot is on right.

PRINCETON DAY SCHOOL (Pagoda Fields - Princeton Lacrosse Club)

Take Route 206 north toward Princeton. After passing the Governor's Mansion, make a left at the light for Elm Road. Travel on Elm Road (Great Road) for approximately under 1.6 miles and turn left into the Princeton Day School campus. The Pagoda Fields are located behind the school.

PRINCETON HIGH SCHOOL (Turf Field - PB LAX)

Take Route 206 north toward Princeton. Turn onto Nassau Street. Follow through the light at Washington Road. Rurn left onto Moore Street (St. Paul's Church is on this corner). Princeton High School will be on the left. There is a parking lot on Walnut Lane (the street behind the school).

ROBBINSVILLE (Robbinsville Community Park)

Take Route 295 South / 95 North to Exit 64 (33 East “Mercerville”)Once off the exit, go to traffic light at dead end. Turn left onto Route 33.At the next light, you will bear off to the right onto Nottingham Way ("Soft" Right)The road you take will have the bank on the left and the firehouse on the right.Stay on this road for several miles. It will dump you back onto Route 33 at St.Gregory the Great Church.Turn left. Get in center lane and stay straight and continue to the light for Route 130. Turn left onto Route 130 and then make a quick right onto Sharon Road.Continue on this road. About ½ mile past the airport, is an intersection. Turn right onto Gordon Road. Continue about ¼ mile to enter the back fields of the park.

TOMS RIVER - OUTBACK TOURNAMENT (Riverwood Park)

Take Route 195 East to exit 18 B. Go straight ahead to Route 571. Make right hand turn. Follow to Whitesville Road and make left hand turn (there is a Boy Scout complex on the the right hand side. After approximately 1.5 miles turn left (church on left) onto Riverwood Park Road. Pull into park.

TRENTON (NJ School for the Deaf - Marie Katzenbach Campus)

Take I-95 South to Exit 2 (West Trenton). Make a RIGHT at the end of the exit ramp onto Bear Tavern Road. Pass Mercer County Airport on your left to the next light (there will be a 7-11 on your right and a Lukoil station just past the light). Go STRAIGHT through the light onto Grand Ave. Follow Grand Ave. past the West Trenton Train Station. You will drive under the train tracks (Grand Ave. becomes Sullivan Way). Before reaching the entrance for NJM (New Jersey Manufacturers) on your right, turn LEFT into Main Entrance for the Marie H. Katzenback School for the Deaf. Drive approximately 100 yards to a guard house. After passing the guard house, make an immediate RIGHT and proceed down to the parking lot. The field is located behind the museum building and is surrounded by the track.
