Councilmember Amanda Santos

Amanda Santos is a longtime Lawrence Township resident, public servant, and dedicated advocate for inclusive community engagement. She currently serves on the Lawrence Township Council, bringing with her years of experience in state procurement, local governance, and nonprofit leadership.

Amanda previously served as Vice President of the Lawrence Township Board of Education, where she chaired the Community Relations and Legislative Affairs Committee and worked to expand resources and opportunities for all students, especially those with disabilities. Professionally, she is a Senior Procurement Specialist for the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, managing complex contracts that support critical government operations.

Amanda is also the founder of a local opera company, where she promotes arts education and accessibility. A proud parent of three, she is especially passionate about advocating for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

She is honored to serve the residents of Lawrence and is committed to transparency, equity, and thoughtful community planning.
