In recognition of many years of service by Harold Vereen to the community, Town Council approved a resolution naming a portion of the Johnson Trolley Line walkway from Eggert Crossing to the Shabakunk Creek, as “The Harold Vereen Walkway.” A dedication ceremony will be held at the Eggert Crossing monument on Eggert Crossing Road.
