Including nearly 20 acres Veterans Park is heavily wooded with several playground structures, three tennis courts, a lighted bocce court and a jogging path that makes an ideal place for a picnic. This park is also the site for the Lawrence Veterans Memorial paying tribute to all of the men and women who served in the military for the United States. A small parking lot is located at the end of Oaklyn Terrace.
