Road Improvement Program
As part of the Road Improvement Program, the Township will be milling and paving Glenn Avenue (between Darrah Lane & Stonicker Drive) and Stonicker Drive (between Princeton Pike & Allen Lane) starting on Thursday, July 31, 2026. Work will continue during the week of August 3rd. Please plan alternate routes if
possible. Detour routes will be posted.

Starting on July 27th the Township will be milling and paving Lawn Park Avenue, Mabel Avenue, Tartan Court, Texas Avenue and Hughes Drive. Please plan alternate routes if
possible. Detour routes will be posted.
Construction of Noise Barriers along Route 295
I-295 southbound Exit 69B to Route 206 southbound is scheduled to be closed and detoured beginning June 4, 2026 and continuin g through August as a noise barrier installation project advances in Lawrence, Mercer County. In addition, the right lane on I-295 southbound is scheduled to be closed just before Exit 69B to install construction barrier and close the ramp.
Aqua Utility Work
Aqua will be upgrading their existing well facilities at 54 Denow Road and 48 Lawrenceville Pennington Road(behind the Village Mill). The work is necessary to comply with environmental water quality regulations and project duration is anticipated to be 4-6 months. Construction staging will be adjacent to Denow Road. Access along the Johnson Trolley Line will be generally maintained although at certain times, access may be restricted for loading/unloading of equipment. All work is expected to be completed during normal working hours.
Water Main Work Along US Route 206 (Main Street)
Aqua is performing a pipe replacement along US Route 206 (Main Street) in Lawrenceville between Titus Avenue and Franklin Corner Road and along Hendrickson Road (between US Route 206 and Willow Road). Customers may experience low to no water pressure and can expect traffic diversions and equipment on-site during the work period. Working hours for US Route 206 will be 8:00 pm - 5:00 am, Monday-Thursday nights beginning 4/6.
