Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death among children ages 1 to 19 according the the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Center for Injury Prevention and Control.

When installed and used correctly, child restraints (safety seats and seat belts) can prevent injuries.

Lawrence Township's Fire Department career staff will work to enhance the safety of juvenile motor vehicle occupants with scheduled passenger safety inspections.

If you would like to request an appointment for an inspection of your child passenger safety seat please, complete this application and submit it to the Lawrence Township Fire Marshal's Office either by fax at 609-844-0282 or by email at kbarkalow@lawrencetwp.com.

Once the application is received, you will be contacted by a Certified Passenger Safety Seat Technician to schedule an appointment.
