- Submit Electrical Subcode Technical Form completed.
- Provide manufacturer installation instructions and specification sheets.
Plumbing (Exception: Window Airconditioners)
- Provide manufacturer installation guide. Indicate the model (minimum 13 SEER) that is to be installed.
- Submit Mechanical Subcode Technical Form.
- Submit Plumbing Subcode Technical Form where condensate drain is required.
[In all cases of plumbing or electrical projects where a contractor is hired, EACH copy of the permit application must have the raised seal of the contractor.]
- Application for Certificate (1 Copy)
- Certificate with Identification Section Filled (1 Copy)
- Electrical Subcode Technical Form (2 Signed & Sealed Copies)
- Mechanical Subcode Technical Form (2 Signed & Sealed Copies)
- Plumbing Subcode Technical Form (2 Signed & Sealed Copies)

- Condensate: A gas that changes to liquid due to temperature change.
The state allows each municipality to adopt their own fee schedules based on the actual costs incurred. The fee schedule is monitored annually by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs to ensure the fees are not excessive and are adequate to cover appropriate costs.
The cost of a permit is set by township ordinance available at the township Construction Office.
