New Bulk Collection Schedule
Bulk waste consists of items to be discarded which are too large to fit into your cart. Residents are permitted three bulky items for collection on the last Friday of each month. Each item shall not weigh more than 50-pounds. Mattresses and box springs must be wrapped in plastic. Bulk exceptions are all metal items and "white goods" including washers, dryers, ovens, refrigerators, etc. Please contact the Public Works Department at 609-587-1894 to make an appointment for collection. Bulky material too large to fit in the "hopper" of any vehicle used for collection will not get picked up. Regulations for Bulky Waste pickup can be found on the attached.
Leaf Collection
Leaf collection begins Monday November, 6 and continues through December 29. See the attached for more details.
New Electronics Recycling Site
Beginning Wednesday, June 28 Lawrence residents will be able to dispose of electronics at the Joseph Maher Ecological site - 3701 Princeton Pike. See the attached for more details including hours of operation and restrictions.
Truck-Mounted Mosquito Larviciding
The Mercer County Mosquito Control will conduct Truck-Mounted larviciding throughout the County, which includes the use of target-specific, biorational granules applied to standing water to help prevent larval mosquitoes from developing into biting adult mosquitoes.
